{"id":5712,"date":"2022-06-15T10:46:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T10:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.green.film\/es\/news\/"},"modified":"2023-05-12T10:47:48","modified_gmt":"2023-05-12T10:47:48","slug":"green-film-rating-system-for-documentaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.green.film\/es\/news\/green-film-rating-system-for-documentaries\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Film rating system for Documentaries"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"5712\" class=\"elementor elementor-5712 elementor-3354\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-83e29dc elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"83e29dc\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-2e405d0\" data-id=\"2e405d0\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4b7eb9c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4b7eb9c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Today, during the Biografilm Festival in Bologna, the new <strong>Green Film rating system dedicated to documentaries<\/strong> was presented.<\/p><p>The birth of this new specific tool started to take shape in 2021, when DG Cinema financed the research project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.green.film\/greenfilm-research-lab\/\">Green Film Research Lab<\/a>, designed to collect and analyze data coming from both traditional and certified audiovisual productions, in order to evaluate the environmental and economical impact of Green Film rating system&#8217;s application; and to review the Green Film tool, update it and develop it for new different production methods, such as documentary production.<\/p><p>As a result of Green Film Research Lab data, Trentino Film Commission in collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.documentaristi.it\/\">Doc\/it<\/a> (Association of Italian Documentary producers and authors), developed Green Film Doc. The collaboration with sustainability experts from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.appa.provincia.tn.it\/news\/pagina162.html\">APPA<\/a> (Provincial Agency for Environment Protection), similarly with the development of the &#8220;classic&#8221; Green Film rating system, was essential.<\/p><p>Documentaries, by their nature, already have a reduced impact on the environment, compared to features or series.<br \/>Nonetheless, it is still important to reduce the impact of documentaries making, pushing producers to change their habits, in proportion to what can actually be done in docs production.<br \/>National and regional funds are now giving incentives to producers who apply green measures to their works.
