Carlobianchi e Doriano, due spiantati cinquantenni, hanno un\u2019ossessione: andare a bere l\u2019ultimo bicchiere. Una notte, vagando in macchina da un bar all\u2019altro, si imbattono per caso in Giulio, un timido studente di architettura: l\u2019incontro con questi due improbabili mentori trasformer\u00e0 profondamente Giulio nel suo modo di vedere il mondo e l\u2019amore, e di immaginare il futuro. Reilly, Peter Lanzani e Gianni Garko. Agli inizi del &#8216;900, il Wild West Show di Buffalo Bill arriva a Roma per vendere agli italiani il mito della frontiera, a colpi di fucili a salve e spettacoli di cowboy. Qui, nella cornice di una gara di doma divenuta leggenda tra cowboys e butteri italiani, Rosa, giovane moglie del signorotto locale, si innamora di Santino, il buttero che vince la sfida. In seguito all&#8217;omicidio del marito, Rosa e Santino fuggono insieme, ma la giustizia, come sempre, \u00e8 venduta al miglior offerente e sulla testa di Santino viene messa una grossa taglia.
