“Ammazzare stanca” is the autobiography of a boy who rebels against his criminal destiny. His name is Antonio Zagari, and his story is true. In the early 1970s, the Calabrian ‘ndrangheta spreads and reigns, from the south to the north. Antonio, the son of the dangerous Calabrian boss transplanted in Lombardy, Giacomo Zagari, finds himself killing over and over again and realizes that he is not suited for that extreme life. And while his peers rebel in factories, universities, and squares, Antonio finds the courage to go against his father, rejecting his legacy.
