At the heart of the story is the seemingly quiet life of Laura (Anna Safroncik) and Enrico (Tommaso Basili), which is turned upside down by the return of Davide (Gabriel Garko) to Ancona. The man, Laura’s ex-boyfriend and Enrico’s best friend, had decided to leave the city following the tragic death of his mother at the hands of his father, who was convicted and imprisoned at the time. The doubt that his father was not the real culprit leads Davide to seek new answers both in the past, which is complicated to decipher, and in the present, where so many things have changed. Laura helps him, supports him, and relives old emotions with him. Their closeness rekindles a passion that never died, setting in motion a series of unexpected events, where secrets and hidden truths come to light, with the help of Tommaso (Francesco Venditti), a brilliant policeman and husband of Viola (Giorgia Würth), Laura’s best friend.
