The short film tells the story of Viviana, a former dreamer who cannot find peace. Life at 40 is not what she thought it would be when she was a child. She has always taken refuge in the lives of others; she is an actress, but even her beloved job does not give her what she was looking for. Even less so do men. It is difficult for her to feel pleasure. She is alone, her greatest affection is for her mother, who is beginning to lose pieces of her life and is discovered to have Alzheimer’s disease. She will even forget her daughter, although she will be there, by her side. The pain is uncontrollable, overflowing from Viviana’s body, seeming to take her breath away. But breathing, at a time like this, is essential, even for her mother. Now that everything is darker than ever, Viviana has a duty to seek out glimmers of happiness.
