Green Films at the 70th David di Donatello Awards

We are proud to announce that 7 Green Films have been nominated at the prestigious David di Donatello Awards given by the Accademia del Cinema Italiano. A testament of how sustainable productions can be successful and receive high levels of recognition. 

Here are all the Green Films nominated this year!

Berlinguer – La grande ambizione by Andrea Segre, received a total 15 nominations: Film, Actor – Elio Germano, Supporting actor – Roberto Citran, Director – Andrea Segre, Original screenplay, Producer, Composer, Production design, Makeup, Hairsyle, Editing, Sound, VFX, Casting, David Giovani.

Vermglio by Maura Delpero accumulated the second highest number of nominations, a total of 14. Here are the nominations: Film, Actor – Tommaso Ragno, Actress – Martina Scrinzi, Director – Maura Delpero, Orginal Screenplay – Maura Delpero, Producer, Cinematography, Production Design, Costumes, Makeup, Hairstyle, Editing, Sound, Casting.

Napoli – New York by Gabriele Salvatores, received a total of 4 nominations, Adapted Screenplay – Gabriele Salvatores, Supporting Actor – Pierfrancesco Favino, Visual Effects, David Giovani.

Campo di battaglia by Gianni Amelio received 3 nominations: Adapted Screenplay – Gianni Amelio and Alberto Taraglio, Cinematography, Sound.

Vittoria by Alessandro Cassigoli and Casey Kauffman received a nomination in the category Best Producer.

Il cassetto segreto by Costanza Quatriglio received a nomination in the category Best Documentary.

Hey Joe by Claudio Giovannesi received a nomination in the category Best Cinematography.

We congratulate all the cast and crew of the film, and we wish them luck for the awards ceremony, which will be held on the 7th of May at Cinecittà Studios in Rome.
