The 16th edition of WEMW is back in Trieste, Italy, from January 18 to 20, 2026, with a strong commitment towards a more sustainable approach.
As an ISO 20121–certified market, WEMW proudly embraces the values of environmental awareness, economic responsibility, and social sustainability.
A shared vision made real thanks to the partnership between Trentino Film Commission, Green Film, and the amazing WEMW team, started last year and renewed for the 2026 edition.
At WEMW 2025, every accommodation was just a short 10-minute walk away, making mobility easy and eco-friendly.
All menus were 95.8% vegetarian, crafted with local, seasonal products supplied by solidarity catering from social cooperatives within 100 km.
A 100% plastic-free event, every badge was made from recycled paper. But WEMW didn’t stop there: a unique Green Lottery designed to inspire smarter, more eco-conscious ways of traveling , also allowed the offsetting of 18 tonnes of CO₂ emissions through the purchase of Gold Standard–certified carbon credits.
