Italy, 2033. Two thousand years have passed since the death of Christ, and St. Peter’s Square is preparing for a momentous event: the public display of the Shroud, ordered by the Pope.
However, the discovery of a gold medallion depicting the face of Christ—identical to the face of the Man of the Holy Shroud of Turin—threatens to shake the very foundations of faith, science, and all of humanity. Giorgia Giani (Ludovica Martino), a young researcher, is aware of this, and driven by a need for the truth, she steals the medallion and turns to Tommaso Luraghi (Raoul Bova), a university professor and Shroud scholar who has been ostracized by the academic world.
The medallion soon becomes the object of a ruthless hunt in which no one is safe. Secret societies, vested interests, and personal vendettas clash in a conflict that is no longer merely between truth and lies but reflects the eternal struggle between good and evil.
