The story of Marta Sironi, a 35-year-old woman with a stubborn dream: to become a comedian. After failing yet another stand-up competition, she finds herself jobless and homeless. Her best friend Fabiana takes her in, but on the condition that she manages to turn her life around in just three days. Marta, however, is not only given a second chance in the competition, but also finds a place to stay, transforming herself into ‘Frau Klara’, a strict and highly qualified German nanny. Lorenzo Nuti, a handsome 45-year-old widower, is in fact in need of an unyielding carer to tame his two difficult children, Chiara and Luigi. When the children discover the truth, they begin to blackmail her to gain more freedom at home. Amid twists and turns and little white lies, Marta is unmasked by Federico, the owner of the stand-up venue where she performs, and is forced to choose whether to continue hiding or to tell the truth.
